Material Package

The Material Package form is used to create and maintain Material Package records. Each material package record must have a specified Material Package Type. The Material Package form can also be used to access and edit a batch of material tracking records that are linked to the material package.

To create a material package record

1. On the View menu, click Field Administration > Material Tracking > Material Packages, and then select a view.
2. Click .
3. In the Creating dialog, select a material package type, and then click Create.

Note: The material package type record must be created before creating a material package.

4. Enter the following information:
• Package ID*: The number/ key identifier for the material package record that is unique to the project.

Note: The package ID cannot be modified after the material package record has been saved.

• Package Type: The type of material package selected while creating the material package record. This field is read-only.
• Description*: The description of the material package record.

*These fields are required.

5. To save the changes and keep the form open, click > Save.
